Ramsay'h, Kihikihi (Mr Coi boy's) that evening. Wednesday — Te Awamutu, calling at Mr Rutherfoid'fi farm. Thursday. — Oh«upo (forenoon only), Hamilton that evening. Friday. — Hamilton, stopping at Railway Hotel ; #ootl grazing for mares at Mv Jolly's, at 2s per week. At T.itnahcrc that afternoon, good grazing at 2s per week at Mr Jiired AUwUl'b. Saturday. — Tamahere, and Cambridge at Cartel's Stables. He was bred by Mr Patterson, Wanganui. His siro, Wellington, is acknowledged to be ouo of the fine-t horses imported to New Zealand. His dam was an imported mare from Uoburt Town, aud, when exhibited, received every firstclass prize as a Brood Mire. " Young Wellington" stands 17 hands in height; his colour is a beautiful dark dappled brown ; he has ? wonderful docile temper; has good action, and toe tf^vametry he has not his equal in the country. "Young Wellington " has proved himself a sure foal- getter, and thoroughly staunch in harness. " Young Wellington's" stock, for size, symmetry, and action, cannot be surpassed. Lbandeb has two crosses of the grand Sir Hercules blood, which has proved to be the best that has ever been in the colonies ; and he is very closely related to the celebrated horses Grand Flaneur and Progress, and many other good horses. Dead Shot is the sire of the well-known Mata. Leandeb isa rich bay, standing 16 hands high, showing immense power, and great quality.
