Wellington, Last Night. At the Resident Magistrate's Court to-day the enquiry into the stranding of the Penguin was resumed. The evidence of the first and second officers and the ateeisman was taken. The enquiry is not yet concluded.
Later. The enquiry into the Penguin disaster was continued to-day. The evidence is very foil, and late in the afternoon the Bench expressed the opinion that Captain Malcolm had been guilty of a wrongful act and neglect of duty in not coming on deck when called the first time.
