In pursuance of "The Maori Representation Act, 1867,*' i«nd the An endments theieof, I, William Gilbeit Man, Esquno, Rt turning Oiliccr for the Western Maoii Electoral Uistnct, do heieby give notice that, by vutuc of a wiit beaiing date the Tvvelftli day of November, \ISSI. under the Public Seal of tho Colony, an election w ill be held for the return of one Qualified Pel son, to serve as a Member of the House of Repiesentatives for tho said Electoial District, and that the Nomination of Candidates will take place at the Resident Magistrate's Couit, Cambridge, at noon on the Twenty-foiuth day of November, 1881, and that the Poll (if necessary) will be taken on the Eighth day of December, 1881.
