Notice of Day of Nomination and Polling Day, In pursuance of "The Regulation of Elections Act ISBl,'' I, Thomas Kirk, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Waipa, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a writ, bearing date the 9th day of November, 1881, under the hand of the Clerk of the Writs, an ELECTION will be held for the return of ONE QUALIFIED PERSON to serve as Member for the said Electoral District ; and that the NOMINATION OF CANDIDATES will take place at the Courthouse, Hamilton, at Noon on THURSDAY, the Ist clay of December, 1881 ; and that the POLL, if necessary, w ill be taken at the several Polling-places of the said District on FRIDAY, the 9th clay December, 1881, commencing at 9 a.m. and closing at 6 p.m. The following are the Polling-places for the Electoral District of Waipa :— Court-house, Hamilton — Principal Polling-place Court-house, Ngaruawahia Court-house, Alexandra Court-house, Te Awamutu Court-house, Raglan School-house, Mata, County of Raglan School-house, Churchill School-house, Whatawhata School-house, Te Rore School-house, Paterangi School-house, Kihikihi School-house, Ohaupo School-house, Pukerimu School-house, Cambridge West House at old Saw Mills, nearly opposite Mercer.
