Blair Athole won in 1878, when a Yearling, First Prizes at Ayr, at Stirling, and at the Highland Society's Show at Dumfries; also as a Two-year-old in 1879, Third Prizes at Ayr and a Glasgow ; Fir-fc at Stilling, and Fourth at tli^ London International Meeting of the Royal Agricultural Society of England at Kilburn. "DARNLEY." Bay, foaled Ist May, 1879, got by Darnley (No. 222), Clydesdnle -tud-bcok. Dam, The Countess by Knookdon (44i), Clydesdale Stud-book, who gained the Auchterarder Premium. He was got by Campsie (119), who was a Highland Society's winner at Kelso, and many other premiums. Darnley (222) is by Conqueror (119), Dam, Peirgy, by Samson alias Logairs Tom (741). He won Second prize at the Highland Society's hhow at Stirling in 1873. The Premiums of the Glasgow Agricultural Society in 1876 and 1877, Firat Prize at the Highland society's Show at Edinburgh in 1877 ; and the Champion Cuy at the Highland and Agricultural Society's Show at Dumfries 1878, and many other prizes sinop, &0., &c.
