"DARNLEY." Bay, foaled Ist May, 1879, got by Darnley (No. 222), Clydesdale Hud-bcok. Dam, The Countess by Knockdon (441), ClydesSale Stud-book, who gained the Auehterarder Premium. He was got by Campsiejllfl), who was a Highland So. ciety's winner at Kelso, and many other premiums. Darnley (222) is by Conqueror (119), Dam, Peirgy, by Samson alias Logairs Tom (741). He won Second prize at the Highland Society's Show at Stirling in 1873. The Premiums of the Glasgow Agricultural Society in 1876 and 1877, First Prize at the Highland "ociety's < Show at Edin. burgh in 1877 ;■ and' the Champion Cup at the Highland and Agricultural Society's Show at Dumfries 1878, and many other prizes since, &c, &c.
