Affairs at Tunis. London, November 1.

The hostility displayed by the native population against the French occupation of Tunis is so bitter that the Republican General demands retaliation, and is resorting to great severities. A number of Arab insurgents have been executed and their heads publicly exposed in the capital. Another engagement between the French troops and Arab insurgents has taken place, Two hundred insurgents were killed. Sickness is reported to be very prevalent amongst the French troops.
