[ BY TELEGRAPH -PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Te Whiti's Speech. Wellington, Last Night.
Te Whiti addressed the Parfnaka natives to-day. The speech was pacific. While he counselled no resistance to Europeans, he mentioned that when he had counselled resisting the Europeans there were but few on the land. This was now reversed, and it appeared to him that every southerly wind brought more men.
