There will probably be a display of temper on both sides which may lead to a blow being struck or a chance Bhot being fired. This will be as the application of a match to a barrel of gunpowder, but the after events will not be confined to a single explosion. To be prepared to deal with them is the duty of the Goveroment, upon whose shoulders there now rests a responsibility far more grave and serious than any they have assumed since they took office. Wi-e and pacific counsels may be found to have prevailed. At the same time we cannot ignore the fact that there is at least a possibility of very fcerious events arising.
