The Victorian Parliament.

Melbourne, Wednesday. On the debate on Mr Ramsay's motion, which condemned the construction of the Education Commission, in committee, m the Legislative Assembly last evening, in the course of discussion, Sir B. O'LogLlen stated lie would consent to add more members to the commission, and appoint Mr Higgmbotham chairman in place of Mr Ormond. Mr Ramsay then unended his motion, and in speaking to the same said lie objected to questions of public policy such as the alleged grievances of the C'ltho'.ics being referred to the commission. Mr Francis spoke in support or Mr ilimsay's objection. Sir B. O'Loghten declared tlwt he would still consider the amended motion as a vote of want of confidence, and insisted on an enquiry into the Catholic grievance. Fiuther discussion of the debate was adjourned till to-day.
