Irish Affairs. London, October 22.
Reports from Ireland show that the strong measures which have been adopted by the Executive are having a salutary eifeet. The condition of the country is much calmer, and order prevails iti the disturbed districts. The priests generally, in Ireland, endorse the terms of the letter recently written by the Archbishop of Cashel, condemning the League's manifesto exhorting the peasants to refuse to pay rents.
