Weights to be declared after Spring Handicap Race. Acceptance to be paid 15 minutes before time of starting. 6. Consolation Handicap, 15sovs., for beaten horses during the meeting. Distance, 1 mile. Nomination, 10s; acceptance, 10s. Horses to take their age from Ist August. Nominations for Handicaps and entrance for Maiden Plate to be sent to the Secretary Waikato Turf Club, Hamilton, on or before Friday, November 11th; weights to be declared on the 15th. Acceptances received up to Friday, 25th, at 7 p.m. Entrance money enclosed, with the name, age, and pedigree of horse and colors of rider. No entry will be received for any race only on conditions that all claims, disputes, and' objections arising; shall be decided^ by the Stewards or whom they may appoint, and their decisions upon all points shall be final. When two or more horses start, the property of the same owner, a distinguishing color must be worn. All races to be run under the V.R.C. iuleH. Any jockey riding except in the colors entered will be fined 3sovs. No entry will be received on any pretence whatever after the hour named, or without being accompanied by the necessary amount of cash. All persons intending to withdraw horses are requested to give notice to that effect to tho Secretary or the Clerk of the Scales one half hour before starting. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this rule shall pay a fine not exceeding 5 boys. to the Race Fund. All protests must be accompanied with a deposit of 5 so vs., which sum will be forfeited to tho Race Fund if the protest is not sustained. Owners of horses who are not members of the Club pay 1 sov^ qualification. Horses walking over will receive 50 per ceut. of the stakes. ROBERT BRADLEY, Secretary.
