August. Nominations for Handicaps and entrance for Maiden Plate to be sent to the Secretary .Waikato"Turf Club, Hamilton, on or before Friday, November 11th; weights tp be declared, on the 16th. Acceptances received up to Friday, 25th, at 7 p.m. I Entrance money enclosed, with the name, age, and pedigree of horse and colors of rider. No entry will be received for any race only on conditions that all claims, disputes, and objections arising shall be decided by the Stewards or whom they may appoint, and their decisions upon all points shall be final. , , When two or more horses start, the property of the • same owner, a distinguishing color must be worn. All raoes to be run under the V,R.C. rules. Any jockey riding except in the colors entered will be fined 3sovs. No entry will be received on any pretence whatever after the hour named, or without being accompanied by the necessary amount of cash. > All persons intending to withdraw horses are requested to give notice to that effect to the Secretary or the Clerk of the Scales one half hour before starting. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this ruleshall pay a fine not exceeding 5 soys. to the Race Fund. All protests must be accompanied with a deposit of 6 soya., which sum will b« forfeited to the Race Fund if the protest is not sustained. NOTICE is hereby given to all Persons who have Gorse overgrown from their hedges on to any road in the above District, to have the same removed within one month from (lute hereof.
