The Superior Thorough-bred Entire. "HERCULE S." Bred by Mr Muiphy, of Spring Creek, and raced by Mr Redvyood.
Got by Ravens worth, dam Plover, by Sir Hercules, Ravensworth by Touchstone, Fair Jean by Verulam, Fair Queen by Pantaloon. Hercules is a bay horse, 8 years old, and stands lo| hands high, combines the best of blood with good bone and immense power, and has proved himself a jrood horse on the turf. At the Canterbury meeting in 1876, won the Grand Stand Handicap, 1 mile, in 1 mm. 50 sec, carrying Bst. 2lbs., beating 6 others. In the same year won the Hawke's Bay Stakes, 2 nrilea, in 3min. 54-} sec, beating Fishhook and the Maori Weed, carrying Bst. 2lbs. Hercules will travel on and after let October, calling at the undermentioned places :—: — Mondays — Leave Goldburn, passing through Tamahere, Cambridge, and Pukerimu, to Ohaupo. Tuesdays — Te Awamutu, and Kihikihi. Wednesdays — Rotorangi, and Cambridge. Thursdays— at home, where he remains for the rest of the week. Terms— £3 10a each mare, Two or more as per arrangement. Good paddock well- watered will be provided at Goldburn at Is per week. All care will be taken, but no responsibility will be incurred. For farther particulars apply to, CHARLES LAKE.

Will Travel the following places in the Waikato :—: — Monday — Pukerimu, travelling same evening as far as Mr Grice's Farm via Rotorangi. Tuesday — Rangiaohia, calling at Mr A. Ramsay's, Kihikihi (Mr Corboy's) that evening. Wednesday — Te Awamutu, calling at Mr Rutherford's farm. Thursday.— Ohaupo (forenoon only), Hamilton that evening. Friday. — Hamilton, stopping at Railway Hotel ; good grazing for mares at Mr Jolly's, at 2s per week. At Tamahere that afternoon, good grazing at 2s per week at Mr Jared AllwUl's. Saturday. — Tamahere, and Cambridge at Carter's Stables. He was bred by Mr Patterson, Wanganui. His sire, Wellington, is acknowledged to be one of the finest horses imported to New Zealand. Hia dam Was an imported mare from Hobart Town, and, when exhibited, received every firstclass prize as a Brood Mare. " Young Wellington " standn 17 hands in height ; his colour is a beautiful dark dappled brown ; he has a wonderful docile temper ; has good action, and for symmetry he has not his equal in the country. " Young Wellington " has proved himself a sure foal- getter, and thoroughly staunch in harness. " Young Wellington's" stock, for size, symmetry, and action, cannot be surpassed. " Young Wellington" can trot twenty miles in two hours, and has done it. TERMS :— Single Mare, £3 3a ; Two or more, £2 15s. No Gboomage. All accounts to be paid on or before Ist day of January, 1882.
