Daring Robbery. Featherston, Last Night.
Featulrstox, Night. The railway post-office at Featherston was entered on Sunday night or Monday morning, and £6 14s in casii taken and a quantity of tickets destroyed.
Proposed Industrial Exhibition. CiiRivrcHURCH, Last Night. The Industrial Association met last night and resolved to heaitily support Messrs Jouberl and Twopenny's proposed industrial exhibition at Christchurch.
The Railway Employes' Strike. Messrs Richardson and Andrews, M.H. R.s, and three other gentlemen .attended a meeting of railway employees this morning, and advised them to apply to the Hon. Mr Hall for a commission of inquiry into their grievances. The men resolved to adopt this plan.
The Elections. Dunedin, Last Night. Henry Clark has withdrawn his candidature for Bruce in favour of Adams.
Deathly Scalding, A three-year-old daughter of Mr Griiclgeman, labourer, Hindon, was scalded to death by a pot of tea upsetting over her.
