Leandke has two crosses of the grand Sir Hercules blood, which has proved to be the best that has ever been in the colonies ; and he is very closely related to the celebrated horaea Grand Flaneur and Progress, and many other good horses. — Dead Shot is the sire of the well-known Mata. Grand Duke (366) Bred by Lawrence Drew E-q., of Merryton, got by Sir Walter Scott (797), his Dam by Lothinn Tarn (oOO). Grand Duke travelled Alloa Distiict in IS7I, Haddington 1872, and Stanraer 1873. The abovo Horse will travel through Tamahere and the Hamilton District under charge of Mr Thomas Dinsdale. " STAR AND GARTER." Brown, purchased from David Riddell, Esq., Black Hall, Paisley. Sire, Royal Prince (732), C.5.8., who gained First Prize at Glasgow as a Three- Year Old ; Second Prize at the Highland Society's Show ; also £100 premium from the Linlithgow Society. Royal Prince (732), C.5.8., is by Prince of Wales (073) C.5.8., the property of L. Drew, Esq., Merryton. Star and Gartei's Dam was by Black Prince (52) C.5.8.. who took the First Premium at the Highland Society's Show, Perth, and First Piemium
at the Linlithgow Society's Show.
The above Horse will travel through Pukerimu, Rangiaohia, Kihitdhi, and Te Awamutu, in charge of Mr John Sutherland.

Blair Atbole won in 1878, when a Yearling, First Prizes at Ayr, at Stirling, and at the Highland Society's Show at Dumfiies; also as a Two-yc.ir-old in 1879, Third Prizes .it Ayr and a Glasgow ; First at Stilling, and Fourth at the London International Meeting of the Royal Agricultural Society of England at, Kilbmn.
"DARNLEY." Bay, foaled Ist May, 1879, got by Darnley (No. 222), Clydesdale htud-bcok. Dam, The Countess by Knockdon (441), Clydesdale Stud-book, who gained the Auchterardcr Piemium. He was got by Campsie (119), who was a Highland Society's winner at Kelso, nnd many other premiums. D-irnley (222) is by Conqueror (119), Dtim, Peirfry, by Samson alias Logaiis Tom (741). He won Second prize at tho Highland Society's Show at Stirling in 1873. Tho Premiums of the Glasgow Agricultural Society in 187G and 1877, First Prize at the Highland .society's Show at Edinburgh in 1877 ; and the Champion Cuy at the Highland and Agricultural Society's Show at Dumfries IS7B, and many other prizes since, &c, &c.
