Her Majesty the Queen has sent a telegram to Mrs Garfield expressing sympathy and condolence with her in the lo&s of her husband.
The English Court in Mourning. Loxdon, September 22. An official Gazette announces that the English Court has gone into mourning for one week for President Garfield. Such a course has never befote beeu pursued in the case of the death of an American President.
Mklbournk, Sept. 22. In the Legislative Assembly last night a vote of condolence with, Mrs Gavfiekl was passed.
Adelaide, Sept. 22. Iv both Houses of the South Australian Parliament last night motions were passed expressing condolence with Mrs Garfield.
