French Commercial Treaties. London, September 16.

It lias been arranged between the French and English Governments that the present commercial treaties shall be prolonged for a period of three months from November, when they would otherwise terminate. In the meantime negotiations are to be carried on between the two Powers with a view to bring about a permanent future understanding in regard to their commercial relations.
