DROWNING ACCI DENT . [BY TELEGRAPH, PRESS ASSOCIATION].
Dunkdih, Sunday. Thk mate and cook of the Mary Ogilvie, lying in the stream, are bettered to have been drowned while going off in a boat last right. The mate's olothes were found in the boat, so it is thought the cook fell oxer and the mate went af tor him to save him, and both got drowned. Last Night. Marshall, the cook of the Mary Ogilyie, reported drowned, has turned up. The police unsuccessfully dragged all yesterday for the body of the mate. Marshall says he left him at midnight on Saturday to go on board, but Marshall, being the worse of liquor, declined to go abonrd.
Mr Browning, Tahuroa, Hamilton, advertises for the owner of a black collie dog. Dr Cushny advertises that he has commenced the practice of his profession in Cambridge, and may be consulted at his address — the business premises of Mr A. G. Hughes, Duke-street, Cambridge. Mr vT. S. Buckland will offer for oale at the Waitetuna Yards, near Raglan, on Saturday, 24th September, cattle, sheep, and hones, and the thoroughbred entire Wizard. Messrs W. J. Hunter and Co. will sell at the Ohaupo Yards on Thursday,' September' 15th. hand-fed young cattle, yearlings, store and fat cattle, pigs, pon), sheep, draught mare and foal by President, etc. A notice by the poundkeeper of the public pound, Hautapu, appears in our business columns. Special attention is directed to the important sale of stock, furniture, &c, of Mr J. T. Boon, Hamilton East, by Messrs VV. J. Hunter and Co., to-morrow, at 2 p.m. The advertisement was inadvertently omitted from Saturday's issue. Mr John Knox will sell by auction at Collingwood-street, Hamilton, on Saturday next, the 10th inst., at 1.30 p.m., the whole of the household furniture, carpenters' and bricklayers' tools, bricks, etc., the property of Mr Hicks.
