The public of Cambridge are notified that to-morrow will be obseiycd as .1 public holiday, 011 the occasion of the opening of S. Andrew's new Church. Tenders are invited for the erection of the new AVeslcj.m Church, H.inulton, to be sent to Mr Hartley, airhitect, Auckland, up to nooH of the 7th .September. The subjects to be brought forward at the Hamilton Debating- Club on Thursday arc achnrtised elsewhere in this issue. The concert in aid of the Roman Catholic Presbytery, Cambridge, comes off in the Public Hall on Monday, the sth September. The nomination of candidates to fill the three \acancics in the Hamilton Korough Council took place yesterday. The following burgesses were nominated ■ — Messrs Fred. Gaudin, Richard Gwynne, K. jMcGarrigle, W. Lovctt, R. F. Sandcs, and W. AVood. The poll will be taV.cn on Thursday, the Bth of September, at the Council Chambers.
