Inquirer writes: — "I have he.u'd the statement of your correspondent 1 Nemesis' that the Cambridge Jockey Club has a debt of £1200- doubled; Perhaps you couid tell me the exact amount." A letter in our correspondence columns to-day will doubtless afford the necessary information. Ratepayer — "Having purchased some land in the neighborhood of Te Awamutiij I should be glad if you could tell me the name of the highway district in which it is situated." Te Awamutu is in' the Highway District of Rangiaohia, which district probably includes the land purchased by you. East i< nder.— The Hamilton Public Hall Site Trustees were appointed by law.
