South Australian Finances. Adelaide, Wednesday.

The Hon. Mr Glyde, Colonial Treasurer, made a Financial Statement in the Legislative Assembly last night, He showed that the revenue during the lasfc financial year amounted to £2,030,000. The estimated revenue for the present year is £2,127,000, and the expenditure £2,075,000, including £474,000 interest on the public debt. It was proposed during the year to raise a new loan at 3 per cent. The Treasurer further proposes to aboliih the duty on tea and coffee, chocolate, cornsacks, and wool packs, and impose a tax of sixpence on land and property.
