Gkntlemen, —In fairness to my numerons friends and supporters in the Waipa Electorate I think it right to inform you that I shall be a candidate for your suffrage* at the coming general election. lam aware that it is unusual to announce such an iutcntion at a date so early as the present, but I am driven into the position by the rumors that are being so industriously circulated throughout the district at the present time.
