Fatal Gun Accident. Invercargill, Last Night.
A young man named Scott, aged 22, employed on the Invercargill-Riverton Railway, while out shooting a few days ago, had his thumb blown oft", and part of the thumb bone lodged in his shoulder. He lingered till yesterday, when he died, mortification having set in.
