Destructive Fire at Wanganui. Wanganui, Last Night.

A disastrous fire occurred at 4 40 this morning, the residence of Mr Peter Bell, draper, St. John's Hill, being burned to the ground. A portion of the furniture was saved, and the inmates escaped with much difficulty. The cause is unknown. The building was insured, but the estimated loss ife £4000.

Kobbery from the Stormbird. There is no clue yet to the robbery from the Stormbird. Kobberies of various kinds greatly increase here.
