rpo THE ELECTORS OF WAIPA.
Geltlemex, — It is my inten-
tion to offer myself at the next General Election as a Candidate to represent your District in the General Assembly.
WM. JACKSON. Kihikihi, July 1, 1881.
mo THE ELECTORS OF WAIPA. Gentlemen, —In fairness to my numcrons friends and supporters in the Waipa Electorate I think it right to inform you that I shall be a candidate for your suffrasfos at the coming general election. lam aware that it is unusual to announce such an intention at a date ho early as the present, but I am driven into the position by the rumoih that are being so industriously circulated throughout the district at the present time. As to the question of how far it is advisable thus to weaken the hands of a repiesentative during the sitting of the House, I shall have more to say presently. — I am, etc., F. A. WHITAKER. Wellington, July 11.
