Geltj, emex, — It is my inten-
tion to offer myself at the next General Election as a Candidate
to represent your District in the
General Assembly. WM. JACKSON. Kihikihi, July 1, 1881.
rpo THE ELECTORS OF WAIPA. Gevtlejten, — In fairness to my numerous friends and supporters in the Waipa Electorate I think it right to inform you that I shall be a candidate for your suffrages at the coming general election. lam awaic that it is unusual to announce such an intention at a date so early as the present, but I am driven into the position by the rumors that are being so industriously circulated throughout the di&trict at the prehent time. As to the question of how far it is advisable thus to weaken the hands of a representative duriny the hitting of the House, I shall have more to way presently. — I am, etc., F. A. WHITAKER.
