OHAUPO LIVE STOCK SALE. T. S. Hucm ami's Weekly Report.—At the Cambridge Y.uds on riu'rscl.iy List a very few pattlo wen 1 brought forward, and there was a small attendance of bujers, 19 head only were sold. Fat urns brought from L"; 12s 6<l to L 7 jt> 6d ua< h , and some choire fat hcitcrs were reserved at L8 each. Fat ewes were sold at 14s : and fat wethers, 15s 6d each. Young pigs, 8s 6d to lib each.
AUCKLAND CATTLE MARKET. Mr Alfred Buckland's Weekly Report.— At tin* I-Liym irket, on FiuLiy, July is, fodder was in short supply, and brought from 3s 3d to 4s 3d pei cwt ; small loads of h.iy, 14s to 15s; and straw, 2)s to 30s pci load. The horse market was well filled, .md those of a good stamp elicited keen competition, and bold better than they have done for some months past, '1 wo heavy draught colts b) Prince Arthur brought L<] \ 10s and L 49 10s respixtiu-l). Active medium draught sold from Ll5 15s to L3O ; a number of light harness horses and hacks, L 5 5s to Lis 14s ; and three well-bred h icks, Ll4 to L 24. At the Haymarkct, on Tuesday, a small market of hides and skins were freely competed for, and previous values full) sustained. At Drury, on Wednesday, there was a large muster ol cattle of a good class. Dairy cows were at considerably lower \ allies, but other descriptions of stock, particularly young cattle, were 111 brisk inquiry, and extreme prices, obtained At Remuer.i, on Thursday, dairj cattle were in moderate number, and fair inquiry it last week's values. Store cattle in demand Two-year-old steers brought L 4 5s ; calves, 37s nnd 38s each. Fat cattle were in Average supply, and at the opening of the sale better worth, and although they fell slightly as the sale proceeded, an advance in price on fast week's market was obtained throughout the sale. Prices ranged trom 23s to 27s the ioolbs. Sheep were in loss than average uumbcr, and prices were between 3d and 3J the lb , varying with quality ; aged eives, 10s each. Pigs were of good quality and plentiful, and with moro buyers than last week.
