Mr Hunter came ne\t with "Nil Dcsperandum," which was sung m Ins u*ual correct style. Mi.ss Fleming gave a pi.mo solo, after which Mi-s Mandeno saug " The Mountebank,' 1 and then Mr Bengo made hi.s debut at l'.iterangi, with the song "Tiuo Blue " Mi Ballance, from Harapepe, then took Ins seat at the piano, and played with gioat .skill an operatic .selection from ".Faust,'' -when Miss Finch ssmg the <rem of the evening, via., " When the Swallows Homeward Fly, 1 ' fioni the German. Next came a comic rsonsr by Mr Piince, '" Im not a Manymg Man," wliich cieated much amusement. Miss Mandpno then played a piano solo, attei which Miss Allen and Miss Finch bing that well-known -ong. "Tho Danube Rivui.'' Miss Mandeno next gave the song, "The Ship-boy's Letter," and Mi Kendall "The Kngli&hinan," after which Miss Fleming ga\e "Home, Sweet Home, " with vaiiations, on the piano, which was listened to with iapt attention, and elicited an encore. Mr and Mi&s Piince next sang a duet, " The Happy Policeman, 1 ' in chaiacter, wliich caused roars of laughter, when Miss M. Fleming brought the programme to an end by singing the &ong, "Sad Thoughts." MrR. T. Millar then stepped forward and proposed a vote of thanks to thosfc who had kindly assisted at the concert, which was duly seconded by Mr F. C. Germann.
