Estimates. Major Atkinson stated he hoped to bring down the Estimates on Tuesday.
The Corrupt Practices Bill. The Corrupt Practices Prevention Bill was passed through committee pro forma in order that lengthy amendments might be incorpoiated, and the bill will then be recommitted.
Graining Bill. After a short debate the Gaming and Lottoi les Bill was read a second tune, fSir \V. Fox intimating his intention of opposing the clause legalising the use of the totali&ator, and several members objecting to the proposal of exemption in fci\orot works of art.
Hamilton Boundaries Bill. The Borough of Hamilton Boundaries Bill passed through committee without amendment.
Land Frauds Prevention Bill. The 2-T.itive Lands Fr.indb Prcvontton Bill and the Native Succession Bill were lead a second time, and the Chatham Islands Bill was reported with amendments. The House adjourned at 10 o'clock.
