Health of President Garfield. Washington, July 12.

The latest bulletin reports that the President has experienced feverish symptoms during the night, but is otherwise progressing favourably towards recovery.

The American and French Wheat Crops. New York, July 10. Advices to hand from the Northern and Western States report that the greater part of the winter wheat crops is now harvested. On account of the unfavourable weather experienced during spring, the yield this year shows a decrease of 25 per cent. Paeis, July 10. Favourable accounts are to hand from the wheat-growing districts. The yield is expected to be up to the average.
