Hunter & Co.'s Ri port.— At the Cambridge Horse Sale on Saturd ly, July 2nd, in consequence of the extreme wet weather, not many hor&cs were brought forward ; the attendance of buyers was small also ; not manjr exchanged hands at auction, but were sold privately afterwards. Hacks, from L8 to Lio ; plough horses, Lio to Ll9 10s each. — At the Ohaupo Yards on Thursday, July 7th, there was 303 head of cattle yarded, principally steers from two to four-year-old. There was also a large number of buyers present from all parti of Waikato. Keen competition existed for well-bred cattle, while inferior coarse-bred cattle were comparatively neglected; nearly all yarded exchanged hands. We quote calves, in low condition, Li us to L 2 5s j yearlings, L 2 tos to L 3; two year-old steers, L 3 17s 6d to L 5; two and a-half and three-year-old steers, L 5 to L 5 15s ; four-year-old steers, L 6 5s to L 7 ; fat steers, L8 12s 6d ; springing heifers, L 5 to L 7; fat heifers, L 6 to L6 15s each.

Mr K. Hill reports that at his sale on Saturday last the following prices were obtained : — Potatoes, £3 ss per ton ; carrots, £3 per ton ; fowls, from 2s 6d to 3s per pair ; cheese, sd per lb; salt butter, tod; hay, £4 per ton.
