Stabbing Affray at Nelson. [BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH, UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.]

Nelson, Last Night. A Norwegian sailor named Samuel Johnson, belonging to the barque Black Watch, was charged to-day with stabbing Joseph Guthrie, cook, of the steamer Murray, and is remanded till Saturday. The injured man was stabbed during the fight between the two men, when Johnson used a clasp knife with which he inflicted two nasty wounds— one over the left eye and the other behind the left ear. Guthrie lost a great quantity of blood, and was found in a most precarious condition. He is now, however, recovering.
