Earthquake near Lyttelton. [BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH, PRESB ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Last Night.

A telegram received from Lyttelton, states that the steam tug Titan, which arrived from Pigeon Bay, reports experiencing: an earthquake at the latter place at 11.40 this morning. The waves were ten feet high, and some damage was done to the steamer's sponsons. It was not experienced at Lyttelton.
