GAMB RIDGE LICENSING COURT.

Tuesday, June 21st. —[Before Major Wilson (Chairman,) Robert Ferguson, and S, S. Graham Esq., O.P. Commissioners.!

Renewals. Atotjs Raynes applied for the renewal of the license of the National Hotel, Gambridge, and also for a reduction of licensing 1 fee. Mr. Dyer appeared for the applicants. The Bench granted a renewal of the license but would not agree to a reduction in the licensing fee. Edwrrd Hewitt applied for a renewal of the license of the Criterion Hotel ; Robert Kirkwood for a renewal of the licence of the Duke of Cambridge Hofcol, and Francis Rose for a renewal of the license of the Masonic Hotel. The Bench granted all three applications. James Thomas Camp applied for a renewal of the license of the Tamahere Hotel ; also for a redaction in the amount of licensing fee. Mr Beale for applicant. The Bench, granted a renewal, and also a reduction of £5 in the fee. Bernard Montague, of the Oxford Hotels applied for a reductipn of the liqensing fee. Tiie Bench consented to reduce it by £5. * The application t of 'Arekatera Te Whero, for, a license for an hotel on the road to Taupo, was refused, ,the house being too small for the purpose.
