June 14. In the House of Commons, in the debate oil the Irish Land Bill, Mr Gladstone made a speech in which he remoustrated again&t the action of the Opposition towards the Bill, and hinted that the Government was prepared if necessary to demand " urgency " in order to ensure its , speedy passage through committee.
