Cambridge, Water Supply. [BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH,OWN REPORTER.] Cambridge, Last Night.
1 Messrs' Kirk wood Akd Hewitt went' to Maungakawa to-day to inspect another source of water supply. They are highly pleased with the new prospect, which is sufficient to supply the wants of Cambridge with double the present population. The water is excellent, and the site' 'elevated about 200ft 1 . 1 abo\ e all the other sources under consideration. It is about four miles from Cambridge. It is thought this source will be adopted.
