CAMBRIDGE HOUSE SALE. Mr J. S. Buckland reports th.it he held a sale ot horses at the Cambridge Yards on Saturday. About fifty-four horses were brought forward, twenty-two of which were from Wellington. There was a very large attendance of bineis, and the bidding, cspeciall) for the Wellington horses, which were of exceptional good quality, was a cry spirited. Prices ranged from £10 to £n for the Wellington horses, the a\erage being ,£23 ss. The local horses also met with ready sale. Sir Kennedy Hill reports that at his weekly sale held in Hamilton, the following prices were obtained:— Fowls —Spanish puie-brcd, from 3s 6d to ss each ; ducks, 4s 6d per couple ; cheese, 4^d per 1b ; potatoes, from 3s to 3s 6d per cwt. ; chaff, £5 per ton ; mai/e, 4s per bushel.
