LATER PARTICULARS. Damages.— Several Thousands of Pounds.
Detective Doolan hag just returned, and confirms the intelligence. The men were working up to 5 o'clock. At ten minutes to 12 o'clock the servant girl discovered fire on the landing adjoining the hay-loft, which spread over the whole premises, and could not be checked until everything was destroyed. The whole affair is wrapped up in mystery ; no person being seen about the place after the men knocked off work. The damages done are estimated at seveial thousand pounds. All the horses were saved ; one having to be carried out. Last Night. Nothing further has transpired as to the origin of the fire, nor has suspicion fallen on any person. It is thought to have accidently originated, and not to be the work of an incendiary ; but why any such supposition should be arrived at I cannot say.
