The Cambridge Water Supply. [BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH, OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Cambridge, Last Night.

To-day Messrs Gwynneth, KirkWood, Hewitt, and Houghton, represeuting the ratepayers of Cambridge, made a trip round by Mangakawa, Taotaoroa, and Karapiro, to examine the country Avith reference to a scheme of water supply for this township. They are of opinion that the supply obtainable from this quarter would not be sufficient for the wants of Cambridge. The saixu party will start for Maungatautari on a like expedition to-morrow, after which they will givo the public the result of their explorations.
