London, May 31. In' the House of Commons to-day tho Irish Lrind Bill came np for consideration m committee of the whole liouse. Oa the fir*t cliuse beiuaf moved, a lonsj and animated debate ensued, and still contiDues. Up to the present time 1500 amendments to various cl mies of the measure have bpen entered on the order paper, and notice continues to be given of fresh amendments.

London*, June 1. In the House of Commons further consideration of the Irish La ml Bill in committee was resumed. The chief speecli of the sitting was made by Sir .Stafford Xoithcote, who condemned the measure, and denounced in strong terms the feebleness of the Iribh policy of the Government. No progress was made with any clauses of the Bill.

Press Denunciation of Government. The London Press, in discussing the present state of aft.viis m Ireland, is almost unanimous in recommending the Government to take steps to completely suppress the Land League.

Further Disturbances. Intelligence from Ireland continues the tcport ot serious affrays between the police and the people at various places, over the eviction of teiiants. ' The state of the country is daily becoming hioie clistni bed. - ' , -
