Victorian Parliament. (BY CABLE PER REUTER.) Melbourne, Last Night,
In the Legislative Assembly last night, the Eeform Bill was again under consideration. After further debate the Bill was passed ; amendments for the Legislative Council being adopted with the exception of an alteration of the franchise and qualification. One of the clauses contained in the Bill which originated in the Council for abolition of plural voting was inserted in the Bill at a latter stage, as was passed by assembly it will be sent to the Council for furthur consideration, and the ultimate fate of the measure is uncertain. Civil servants have not yet been paid their salaries for the past month, as Berry declines to introduce supply till he insists that reform question shall be settled before appropriation of funds be authorised.
