Hunter and Nolan. — Mr Gresham for Plaintiff. — Claim, £2 1 6s 6d, for value of steer sold by defendant in September 1879. — Mr Wallis, J. P., produced a cheque for the amount drawn by defendant and paid by their banker's, but there was no evidence connecting this cheque with the plaintiff.
