SEALED TENDERS-will be received at the County Council Chambers until noon of Monday, the 20th of June, for the erection of the Haerini Bridge and Viaduct on the ,Tauranga, Te Puke, and Rotorua Road. HHENDERS, addressed " Chairman JL Cambridge District Board," may be left at Camp's Hotel, Hautapu, up to Friday, 27th inst., at 6 p.m., for the undermentioned Works, viz, : — No. 1. — Road formation in three separate sections, from main road to Selby's, and thence to Allwill's Corner. Plans and Fpecifications of which will be left at Camp's Hotel for inspection. No. 2. — Raising road and bridge at Tamp here Crossing 1 , near Broadmeadows Estate. Mebsrs. Main and Snowden being deputed to meet contractors on the ground on Thursday, 26th inst., at 2 p.m. No tenders will be considered eligible unless accompanied by a deposit of 10 per cent, on amount of tender. They must be addressed to the Hon. the Minister for Publio Works, Auckland and marked outside, ' ' Tender for Morrinsville Contract." Plans and specifications can be seen at the Public Works Office, Auckland ; at the Post-office Hamilton ; at the Wardens Officp, Grahamstown, Thames ; and at the Publio Works Office, Wellington. Telegraphic Tenders, similarly addressed and marked, will be received, if presented at the Telegraph Office by noon of the same date, provided that Written Tenders in due form are lodged at a District or Resident Engineer's Office by the same hour, and accompanied by a cheque on some Bank in the town where the Tender is lodged; such cheque to be specially marked by a Banker as good for twenty-one dayi, and to be in favour of the Receiver-General 1 a Deposit Account only and not to bearer or order.
