The committee, stewards and officers were elected for the ensuing year The treasurer's statement showed a crndifc balance of £800, after paying £24(5 overdraft from last year, new grand stand costing £4400 or £4500, and will be erected before next Spring Meeting. To meet this £800 is in, hand, and £31,000 have been arranged to be advanced to the Union Bank, repayable in six annual instalments. W. B. Armsou was elected a life member for services as architect.
