England and the Tunisian Difficulty. London, May 21.
It has transpired that Lord Granville, the .Secretary for Foreign Aftairs, referred to the Tunisian treaty in recent dispatches to the French Government, emphatically protesting that France will -be expected to fulfil the treaty obligations, and respect tiie privileges th/\t England has hitherto enjoyed m connection with the Government of Tunis.
