The Irish Land Bill. London, May 20.
At the banquet in the city yesterday evening the Marquis of Salisbury made a speech, in the course of which he referred to the Irish Land Bill in disparafm<j terms, and severely denounced the risli policy of the Government. In the House of Commons yesterday the Irish Land Bill was read a second time and passed by a majority of 176. Mr Parcel 1 and the extreme Irish "party abstained from voting.
