THE HIKURANGI MEETING. [BY BLECTRIC TELEGRAPH, OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Alexandra, Last Night.
At Hikurangi* the only,ibusines3 done by the various tribes up to the present is the holding of meetings amongst themselves as to their view of the present meeting ; in fact, kind of committee meetings. The result of their consultations, when given to the King, will be considered,, and answered by him, it is ■ expected, on Friday or Saturday next. The place is one mas 3 of mud owing to the late rains, and no outside meeting can take place until dry weather sets in. A party have left to fetch Eewi here.
