Oamaru, Thursday.
An inquest was held to-day on a child aged four years, named Lamnans, who died suddenly on Tuesday. The verdict was to the effect that the death was accelerated by neglect on the part of the parents, and the jury, in cautioning them, said they had narrowly escape the charge of manslaughter.
