There are also Factories at, or near, the City of Glasgow, and the dimensions of these works may be imagined, when we say that 2,500 here, as at the American Works, find constant employment. The turnout of Machines alone is 10,000 every week, or, at the rate ef 300,000 (half a million) for the current >car.
